OUR VISION

Our vision at Graham Memorial Pentecostal Holiness Church is to:
  1. Reach the lost whatever the cost.
  2. Not just to come to church but to be the church.
Our vision comes from the words of Jesus in Mark 4:35, where Jesus said to His disciples, “Let us go to the other side (of the Sea of Galilee).”
When Jesus said these words, He along with his disciples, were preparing to set out to a new place taking his ministry somewhere it had never been before.
Jesus and his followers began the journey to people that were hurting, lost, and afflicted. People who needed a Savior and Jesus was going to them regardless of their background, ethnicity, or cultural differences. It did not matter to Jesus any mistakes they had made. Jesus said I'm going to save those who are lost but when Jesus said these words He also told his disciples to come with him.
Our Lord did not say that it would be easy. He did not say there would not be any storms or obstacles. He simply said, “Let us go to the other side.” By saying those words Jesus declared that no matter what stood in their way they were going to make it if they would just have the faith to follow him.
At Graham Memorial we strive to be a people that would follow Jesus when He says, “Let us go to the other side.”
We strive to be a people in the name of Jesus that when we encounter someone who is lost that we would reach out with the love of Jesus in our heart and help those in need regardless of where your from or what your background is. We do not focus on the past; we look to God as the Spirit leads us into the future.
We want people to know that we love Jesus and we love you too.
At Graham Memorial Jesus has not only given us a Vision, but a Mission.

 OUR MISSION

1) We want to be a Christ centered people.
Philippians 3:10-12 says, “I want to know Christ. Yes. To know the power of His resurrection and participation in his suffering, becoming like him in his death. And so somehow attaining to the resurrection from the dead.”
In other words, we want to know Jesus Christ and be like him. We want Jesus at the center of our lives and everything we do in our ministry.
2) We strive to be a Spirit led people.
Philippians 3:13-14 says, “Brothers and sisters, I do not consider myself yet to have taken hold of it. But one thing I do, forgetting what is behind and straining toward what is ahead. I press on toward the goal to win the prize for which God has called me heavenward, in Christ Jesus.”
Sometimes life is hard. Sometimes the road is not always easy but if we are a Spirit led people and we let the Holy Spirit take over our lives and our hearts and lead us wherever we are going, no matter how hard the road is ahead, we are confident that the Spirit will lead us toward the prize of winning souls to Christ and on toward our heavenly home.
3) We want to be a multi-generational church.
Moses said in Numbers 10:29, “We are setting out for the place about which the Lord said I will give it to you. Come with us and we will treat you well. For the Lord has promised good things to Israel we look to be a people who value our elders and know we have much to learn from the generation before us to train us to disciple the generation that is coming after us.”
4) We strive to be a multi-cultural church.
The Apostle Paul said in 1 Corinthians 9:20-22 “To the Jews, I became like a Jew to when the Jews to those under the law I became like one under the law, though I myself am not under the law, so as to win those under the law.” Verse 21 “To those having the law I became. To those not having the law I became like one not having the law. Though I am not free from God's law. But I am under Christ's law. So as to when those not having the law, to the weak I became weak. To win the weak I have become all things to all people. So that by so I have become all things to all people so that by all possible means I might save some.”
At Graham Memorial we don't care what color you are or what country you're from. We all need Jesus and we want everyone to know Jesus. The Apostle Paul's words means that he was a man of diversity as believers we look to be diverse because we serve a Jesus who doesn't care what color you are. Doesn't care where you're from. But we all need Jesus. We look to have a church of many different backgrounds of many different cultures. Serving one true God of 3 in 1: the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit.
We do not try to be a church full of perfect people, but of real Christians. We all have things we're going through and we all need Jesus' help. Let’s seek him together. We're all trying to make it to heaven.

Let us all get in the boat and go to the other side together with Jesus.
